THE STORY OF

Kynynmont Farm encompasses 115 acres of scenic vistas of rolling hills, ponds, and woodland in Lancaster County, PA. The Victorian farmhouse and numerous outbuildings date back to 1889. Pam and Kirk Liddell purchased the property in 1991 as an idyllic place to raise their four children.

In the early years of Kynynmont Farm, Pam revived the Conestoga Pony Club, where many friends had the opportunity to develop their equestrian knowledge and skills. Overtime, Pam began breeding, raising and training Connemara ponies and crosses for amateur dressage riders, and Kynynmont Connemaras LLC was born. In 2008 the Liddell’s contracted King Construction to build a state of the art, 22-stall dressage training facility, complete with a stunning oversized indoor arena.

Pam’s tenacity and focus lead to great success in many areas of her life, including her breeding operation. Many credit Pam as being the driving force in the United States to bring the Connemara breed to the forefront of dressage competition. Countless Kynynmont horses and ponies have brought tremendous joy and success to their adult amateur owners, and many of Pam’s ponies have received national recognition from the American Connemara Pony Society, USDF and USEF.

Pam, whose personal riding career took a detour when she went to law school and then became a mother, got back in the saddle herself as her children went to college. As her kids earned their college degrees, she won her USDF Bronze and Silver medals.

In its next chapter, Kynynmont Farm will be the permanent (and stunning!) home base for FEI trainer Jessie Paine and JP Dressage LLC. Once a haven only for the Kynynmont Connemaras, Jessie is thrilled to have the opportunity for her students and clients to enjoy the farm Pam built with such love and hope.
